Prior to working with Jameka, I tried to work with two different real estate agents.  These experiences made me very frustrated with the whole home buying process especially after shoveling out paperwork, time and money.  I then remembered an agent that I contacted early on in my home search, but never followed up with. Jameka had been so diligent in contacting me, and I felt that she would give that same time and energy in finding me a home. I called her on a day where I was being threatened by my former real estate agent, and due to the horrible treatment from her, I had to cancel the contract on a home I liked a whole lot. When I contacted Jameka, she answered the phone very sweet and professional and right away I begin throwing my experience at her.  She listened a while and then advised me of her concerns, and apologized that my first time experience had been so rough, and said she would see what she could do. We were not able to get the house I liked so much back due to legalities, but she said that she would help me the best way possible.

The experience with Jameka was excellent; she was courteous, professional, and very polite. My car was totaled through this whole process to make matters more complex, but Jameka was right there to pick me up and took me to look for my new home. In mid-July, I found a home that I not only liked, but love until this day! It was in my price range, in a good neighborhood, and had all the features I wanted in a home. I thank God for a real estate agent like Jameka and my home- buying experience that I shared with her.

My advice to home buyers especially 1st-time home buyers:

1) Be patient & don't settle for just anything

2) Pray for the right house

3) Be ready for the paperwork

4) Educate yourself on the process beforehand

5) Be ready for the monetary need

6) Make sure you qualify for $8,000 credit(I did, received mine within 2 months and purchased a new car after the first was totaled)

7) AND #1 FIND A GOOD REAL ESTATE AGENT LIKE JAMEKA!
